About Darrel
For over 20 years I owned and operated my own small businesses. Great customer service has always been my primary objective. I realize that our guests are the most important aspect of doing business and giving them a positive buying experience is my #1 goal! I am very transparent and wholly believe that honesty is the best policy. I take a great deal of pride in the fact that I’m good at what I do and I enjoy coming to work! My wife and I just celebrated 20 years of marriage and we have 2 kids together. We get outdoors as often as possible and enjoy mountain biking, dirt biking, shooting, and general “outdoorsy” stuff. Some of our best times have been spent in the woods or on the river. We are also very involved in travel league soccer. Both of my boys are on state premier soccer teams and we’ve enjoyed the challenges, sacrifices, and comradery it has provided us over the years. At the Al Serra Auto Plaza we have 12 different brands as well as a huge used/certified pre-owned vehicle inventory. From lease to purchase, I’m able to assist my customers with all of them! When I first walked in to test drive the 2026 Outback I had to wait for a salesperson since they were all busy with other customers. I must admit I was beginning to feel unimportant since not one of them acknowledged me or said “someone will be with you.” A few minutes later Darrel came out from his lunch to take care of me, and that right there impressed me. He was accommodating, patient and kept in communication with me throughout the process. I will definitely recommend Darrel to my friends and family.
